Melina

Master Stylist/Owner

Melina Cruz's journey behind the chair spans an impressive 23 years, beginning as a young girl with a vision for her hair dreams. Over the years, Melina has turned her dreams into reality, building a small empire driven by her ambitious aspirations. Teaming up with a dear friend, she expanded her vision across the state of Colorado, culminating in the opening of LAB Salon, a Goldwell Salon in Wheat Ridge. Melina's extensive expertise is evident in her numerous certifications across various color lines, inspiring her to educate and mentor fellow colleagues and students alike.


Her unwavering passion for the hair industry drives her constant evolution and growth. Outside of the salon, Melina is a devoted mother to four handsome sons, finding joy in family life, travel, and sports activities with her husband. Melina is deeply involved in advocating for the autism community, a cause close to her heart as she raises her two youngest sons impacted by autism spectrum disorder. Clients praise Melina's dedication to her craft, noting that her passion for hair mirrors her commitment to advocacy and support for her community and those in need.

Christina

Master Stylist/Owner

This Denver native has a strong passion for the beauty industry and entrepreneurship. Starting from a young age, her talent and love for hairstyling and makeup have been evident, leading her to pursue a career in the field. With support from friends and family, she embarked on her journey, eventually realizing her dream of owning her own business. With dedication and determination in following her passion.


Christina's commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with the latest trends in the hair industry is commendable. By investing in her own education and that of her staff, she ensures that they stay ahead of the curve and provide top-notch service to their clients. She values excellence and professionalism in her salon.

Cierra Montoya - Uresti

Stylist/Makeup Artist/Manager

Hi, I’m Cierra. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist since 2018, specializing in makeup, color, blonding, hand-tied and tape-in extensions, brow laminations, lash lifts, and more. When I’m not with clients, you’ll find me behind the desk as the manager of L.A.B Salon. I love helping people feel their absolute best. Outside the salon, I’m usually with my husband and family or immersed in a good book. I’m always looking for new book recommendations to add to my ever-growing TBR. Above all, my faith in God is the foundation of my life. And if you ever see me out and about, don’t hesitate to say hi—I love connecting with clients both in and out of the salon.

Andreanna Christine Baines "Drea"

Drea brings a decade of industry experience, with a focus on color cutting and styling. She has pursued additional education in vivid color, color correction, bridal styling, and razor cutting, continually seeking opportunities to refine her skills. Outside of work, she finds joy in camping, hiking, and reading. And when she's not outdoors, she cherishes downtime at home with her boyfriend and her beloved dog, Jethro.

Savannah

Stylist

Savannah is a licensed cosmetologist who began her career in February 2024. Her love for beauty started early, shaped by the women in her life and years of doing her own glam for Laotian dance performances. At the salon, she’s constantly growing—learning advanced techniques from Melina and Christina and developing into the thoughtful, personable stylist she aims to be. She specializes in long hairstyles and blonding, and she loves helping clients refresh or transform their look. Outside of work, Savannah enjoys time with her family, boyfriend, and best friends. If you see her in the salon, feel free to share your favorite food, show, or movie recommendations—she’s always excited to try something new.
